October 11, 2004
Waltham MA. --- CTC Communications Corp, a Waltham Massachusetts based Integrated Communications Carrier and the largest competitive local exchange carrier headquartered in New England, has expanded its network footprint in Maryland by adding three new network collocation sites that will be connected back to the company’s existing presence in Baltimore.
“This expansion of our network gives CTC Communications increased flexibility in the Northern Maryland and suburban Baltimore area,” said Ray Allieri, CTC President. “These new access points will allow us to bring the unique benefits of our PowerPath network even closer to more businesses, expanding our network reach while reducing costs to our customers.”
“Increasing our footprint in this region will pave the way to offer more services to new and existing customers” said Russ Oliver, SVP of Network Engineering and Operations. “We are planning to deploy our Local Dial service tone in this region by the end of this year, and we plan to launch many new products services as well for the greater Baltimore area.”
The CTC PowerPath network provides integrated services such as local and long distance voice services, Internet access and data services over a single broadband connection.
